“I live in Naples, Italy and I do not deserve to live into a trash bin. After two years from the last emergency, today we are back to the same situation. The streets are full of trash, hills of garbage lay on sidewalks, the air stinks and and the only burner existing in the whole region works intermittently.
The politic failed again. In two years they didn’t get to set up a waste separation programme for the city, they didn’t even started to build new trash burners and in the meanwhile the dumps got full again. The city itself has become a dump again.
I decided to take my equipment and go down in the streets, in the very downtown of my city, where I live. I tried to write a visual report of what I saw that day: nothing more, nothing less.”
